my hair has a natural kink. when u see celebrities with big and extremely loose waves that is how my hair is but when i dry it i have to brush it and then it becomes straight. when i brush my hair in general the waves go away. is there something i can do or use to make my hair its natural way and stay like that all day long?
okay girl listen to me. since you have wavy hair you should NOT brush your hair k? just after you take a shower and its wet, brush your hair, but after that do NOT brush it because your wavyness will go away. you can either a.) let your hair air dry and apply moose (i suggest herbal essence or fructis) and scrunch or b.) you can dry your hair without a brush a bit and then apply moose and SCRUNCH!
use moose and gel and scrunch it. do not brush it after you scrunch it
don't brush it after you've blow dried it. use gel to scrunch it. then add some hair spray to make sure it will last.
First don't brush your hair. Use a hair pick. Try using Tresemme hair product shaping milk for curls. If you blow dry your hair use a diffuser and scrunch while you dry. Than use a light hair spray and scrunch again.
i have the same type of hair. when my hair is still wet when i get out of the shower, i loosely braid my hair in 4 braids with gel. when i wake up in the morning, i just take out the braids, wet it, and put gel it in.

Basically, they're normal braids but othe braid is only 1-4 inches long. Will this damagae my hair?
ur hair is gonna get damaged anyway type of braids u wear it i wear singles and it doesnt hurt my hair that much butid say those are pretty safe dont expect that ur hair wont get a liitle damaged tho
Any type of braids can potentially damage your hair. It's how tight the braids are, with too much pulling over a long period of time you can end up with some hair loss especially around the front.
All braids, especially micros, add stress by pulling on to the hair which irritates the scalp. Constant pulling at the roots can cause the hair follicles to break. Braids are good to get, once in awhile, I don't think they should be put in constantly. The scalp should be oiled and cleaned while they are being worn. Last but not least, professional salon braiders are the best, but hair loss still can result because they have to catch the hair tightly to braid it.

leave your layers as they are and go to the salon and get your hair LOOSELY permed, lots of loose wavy curls. make sure they know what they are doing or else it will look like crap.
it will give you the tousled/wavy look that lots of celebrities have and you don't need to use a hair curler, maybe just a round brush when you blowdry your hair.

Yes, absolutely. I bought one about a year ago. I looked at all the reviews at www.folica.com and decided on that one. Do not get the Chi, they tend to break more easily than the Sedu or Solia. Just read the reviews they speak for themselves.
I would get a Farouk Systems CHI flat iron, they are the one that wins awards from stylists and the industry each year. Sedu also is a good product, but not one many professionals use or recommend.
I've heard Sedu is pretty good..along with Solia and CHI. You can get TONS of reviews on the Sedu at www.folica.com. It also has some pictures of people who have used it also! It's pretty awesome lol. Just search for Sedu Flat Iron.

You might be sorry if you try this at home. Here's a tip, if you didn't get it from a hair care specialist and told how to care for your hair at home DO USE IT! Buyer Beware. It sounds like you might want to let a specialist who know how to do Black women hair do yours. I'm not trying to be funny, but a hair specialist of color might be your best hope. I've always really wanted red hair and have thought red heads were so beautiful. Not bright punk rock red but that beautiful red color on the girl from Disney's Enchanted, Jane Grey from the Xmen movie, Marcia Cross or back when Lindsey Lohan was a red head. The problem is, my friends keep telling me you can only pull off red if you have perfectly pale skin.

it wont work if you have a tan, but it you regularly palish, it will work, you can always wear a bit of a powder tolighten your skin (face) a little to help comlete the look, but you dont have to be pastey white

no, i dont think your necessarily have to be fair skinned to pull off red, what about Debrah Messing? from will and grace? though, i think you should talk to a professional at a hair salon or something before becomming a red head, its a huge step to take!

basically you just have to have the right skin tone. if you have pink undertones red isn't the color for you because it'll only make you look more pink or if you have dark complexion such as olive or deeper tones.
i think the color you're looking for is Ginger which is a natural red color. if you really want to dye your hair red you should go for it, don't worry about what your friends say.
What about Isla fischer? and if you have a darker skin tone, reds kind of look weird....
if you have yellow undertones in your skin it won't look nice, if you have reddish skin it may look nice. if you have very dark skin, no way. don't listen to what your friends say. yeah, most of the time you see red heads with light skin, but if you want it, do it. Or maybe you can have dark brown hair and do carmel and red lighlights and lowlights.
I've seen people with tans pull of red hair, and it looks beautiful. it's pretty rare though, and their hair is dark red, not carrot top orange like the people with really pale skin.
I don't know any celebs with red hair that aren't pale. If you have a dark complexion and want red hair, get red highlights. You get the red without it looking ridiculous on you.

Easy question :)
well first of all to get the hair straight, either straighten it or blow dry it straight. But always remember to use some sort of heat protecting product to your hair when applying heat.
And getting tips on straightening hair can be found in heaps of websites on the net.
And to get you hair to poof up from behind the head band is simple, first off, to give your hair more volume (if you have really flat hair) when blow drying you hair, put your head down so that your drying the hair with the hair falling/going downwards. (wait, did that make sense? sorry)
Anyways when styling the hair, to add more volume, you could also do the same thing as the blow drying.
Put your head down and spray the underside of the hair with hairspray.
When you have put the headband on, to style behind it, section a small layer of hair in the area behind the head band and clip it up.
Then, with the next layer of hair, get a rat tail comb and use it to tease the hair. If you dont know what it is, its basically using the comb to comb through, pushing the hair up. Im a bad explainer lol, so search it in the internet and im sure u will find it :)
Well after you have teased the section, unclip the earlier section and lay it back normally, ontop of the teased section. Gently and lightly comb the area to smooth it out, but not to undo the teasing which is giving the hair volume.
You could also blowdry the section of hair in the opposite direction of where it lays, to give that airy poof!
Last but not least, finish the hairdo with hair spray to keep the hair behind the headband up.
If you are still unsure and confused, you can search, hair volume on youtube or google etc.
Or maybe even clip the back hair to make it poof up, with a few bobby pins, but it might not look that good.

She probably has a gazillion stylist working on her hair all the time so it might be a little hard to re-create but if you would have to use a straightening iron on your hair and then blow-dry it upward to create body so it will stay up behind the hairband. And use styling mousse.

Put some product in your hair that is designed to smooth and straighten hair, and then straighten it with a flat iron.
Then to get it to stick up, grab some strands in the middle at the very top of your head and hold them up. Use a fine-tooth comb to tease your hair by combing the hair backwards about an inch or two from the part. Do this with a couple layers until it's lifted up around the top of your head. Then put a little hairspray on it, and then the head band on.

Have you tried going to your local bookstore and checking out those magazines specially for hair? I look at them all the time to get ideas. There's some with celebrities, and there's some without if you don't like that. They have whole magazines dedicated to long hair or shirt hair so it makes it easier. I'd try that.

I can't give you a picture.. but I can give you some ideas. I have a round face and blonde hair too. One idea is straight across bangs. for your face shape, a cute bob with bangs would help. make sure your bangs are cut at your eyebrows, or slightly above. Lower that your eyebrows, and they get in your eyes. Too short, and they frizz up and can look tacky. Or you can have long bangs, swept off to the side.
Another thing I have for you is this...keep you hair blonde! If you were born with blonde hair, why change it? So many people are striving to get blonde hair, and spending enough money to prove it! Take what you were given and use it to your advantage.

Tips on Buying a Straightner:
If you plan on using it everyday you will need a more proffessional straightner.
Not brands like CONAIR, REVLON, ETC.
I like using a hair straightener to tame bangs.. although a curling iron would work as well. The straightener will just give then more of a sleeker look. I would give it a test run and play around a little bit.
My sister and Mom use a straightening iron and they could not live without it. (Use the ceramic kind it is more expencive than the origanal but it does not fry your hair.)

I think a darker brown with lighter highlites would look nice, i've always wanted to try it but as my hair is dyed so dark i was advised not to put really light colours in it.
You should ask your hairdresser for her opinion and see what ideas she comes up with, you could even try flashes or blocks of colour rather than just highlites.
I done mine really dark with red, don't know if you can see in my picture, it was easy for me to change my colour as i always have my hair dark but if you have had lighter hair a long time i think you are right in staying away from black, it will be harder to lighten and could make your skin look really pale depending on your skin tone.

I believe one is a cream and one is a gel. :)
A dark brown dye will make your hair almost black, so don't use it if that's not the effect you're going for. A medium brown will give a nicer more natural effect.
If you notice one thing about darker skinned celebrities who look great with blonde hair- they're gorgeous. If you're gorgeous you can get away with any hair color. :)
If you go dark brown you need a colour that is going to cover the grey. They packs usually tell you if they are suitable for grey hair and what kind of coverage you will get. Warmer browns will go red because they have a red pigment in the dye. Brown can be a difficult colour, but its a case of trial and error.
On the other hand if you want to go blond but think your eyebrows are too dark, you can have them lightened by your beauty therapist. Its like a reverse eyebrow tint. It takes the dark out but still leaves you with a natural looking lighter brown eyebrow. You need to speak with your hairdresser about a blond shade that works well with your natural skin tones for it to be natural looking. If you have a lot of grey, its is easier for you to maintain blonde as the grey tones blend well with blond and doesnt fade as quick as brown. Nor do you notice the regrowth as bad. My advice as a beauty therapist and hairdresser, is not to try the colors at home until you get it done with your own stylist to see what works for you. they should then be able to recommend a color for you to use at home. Yes it will be more costly to get started but think of what you will save if you screw it up doing it yourself. You may very well find yourself at the hairdressers begging them to fix it anyway!

- Straighten your hair with a good pair of flat iron hair straighteners.
- Apply some hair serum to hair esspecially at the ends to moisturise hair and make it shiny and soft.
- at the roots, apply some volumising mousse on your hair and scrunch it up a bit to make it thicker.
-Then you can just style it and overlap it over the headband.

Why do they have to stick to their natural hair, black people like their hair in different styles so they curl it, straighten it, braid it or whatever just like any other race, white celebrities for example do the same thing, if their hair is naturally straight, they want to curl it or if its curly they want it straight or if its long or short they change their hair, it has to do with the individual. Not all black celebs change their natural hair, black celebs like india ire (or however you spell it), Rachel true or even kelis keep their hair natural, it doesn't have anything to do with being offended or whatever you mean. I personally get my hair straighten so it can grow, it grows so much easier that way becuase it isn't so curly (the natural oils are able to reach the scalp for growth) and when it grows to my desireth length I will let it go naturally. I can wear it any way that i want...natural, straight. long short..And not just the black celeberties are wearing hair extesions, everyones wearing them...including the white ones..so dont make it seem like that balck people are the only ones wearing extra hair. No i ma no piossed of because we can wear our hair in any style and dont have to worry about it...

put your hair into a bun and then pull at bits so its not come out of the bun, but looks messy..
Pull hair back really loose so it is still curly, Twist it like you are going to make a bun, but leave the ends really loose, so it looks like a ball with the frayed hair on the outside, put a hair tie around it loosely.
She's literally just scraped it back with her fingers and fastened with a hair band, and not pulled the hair all the way thru the band so it makes a rough kind of bun, don't think it's any special kind of technique she's just tied it up in a real messy way.
Try it on on unbrushed bed hair to get that messy feel.

Throw you head upside down and comb all of it into a pony tail, then take your scissors and cut your pony tail straight across. Take the pony tail out and you will have a layered look. Hint: The higher the pony tail the longer the length of the look. The lower the pony tail the longer the layers will be and the shorter your length will be.

Otherwise, if you decide to cut your own hair, you should keep a few things in mind.
Wet hair is much easier to cut than dry hair. Start with freshly shampooed, tangle-free hair. Keep a bottle of water with a spray nozzle nearby so that you can dampen your hair if it begins to dry while you are working on it.
Be sure that your scissors are nice and sharp to avoid pulling your hair. If you plan to cut your hair on a regular basis, it will be worth investing in a good quality pair of scissors designed specifically for use on hair.

For bangs, begin with your hair parted in the center. Using your comb, take an equal amount of hair from each side of the part line and comb it forward. Smooth the hair between your index and middle fingers and cut across, being careful to maintain a straight line.
One word of caution--keep it simple. If you are inexperienced at cutting your own hair and looking for a complicated style with many angles or layers, you will probably need to enlist the help of a friend to be sure that your haircut is even in areas that are difficult for you to reach.
As you get more comfortable cutting your own hair, you may want to attempt more complicated styles. There are a number of terrific books and videos available that offer step-by-step guidance. A video can be especially helpful since you get to see the procedure in action and can replay it as many times as necessary to help you fine-tune your skills.

OK so i think u shood try something that most girls dont cut it to below ur shoulders and then do a short straight across bang, if u want u can die ur hair plaitnum blonde, i cut my bangs all the time and the way to do it is to firts cut ur hair evenly to right below ur shoulders check wit someone to make sure its even, then with the bangs take a marker WASHABLE and draw a line to were u want the bangs to and make sure its even or ull prob look like a lawn mower ran u ova.... kk hope i helped.

Most celebrities with hair that isn't super short have a LOT of extensions in their hair to make it look longer/fuller etc. so I suppose any person who has enough money to get really good extensions could potentially have the same hair. Other than that no, I don't believe everyone is like on an equal playing field, if you will, for hair potential...some people's hair just won't ever look quite as lovely as a celebrity.

Gel wax applied through the hair will give it shine and the curly look.
Place a small amount of gel was in the palm of your hand, and then dispense it evenly throughout your hair. Applying a small amount will create hold and a semi-wet effect. Run the gel wax through all of your hair to prevent frizz.
For longer hair like in the picture of Quddus, mist with spray gel, and separate curls with fingers. The hair should be cut longer on top, with jagged layers to enhance the curl.

The ones Paris have in are about 18"-22" extensions. If your getting them at a salon try calling and asking about how much it would be for 18"-22" extensions.
It varies depending on what method and sometimes haircolor on how much it will be. It could be anywhere from $200 and up.
I think Jessica Simpon has hair extentions out but when I get mine they are uually 22' but I can wear them anymore because usually they come at 16" My hair is down to my lower back so it's wayyy to $$$

Girl go to a downtown hair store and you can buy hair extensions for 18" for about $40-50. Don't pay hundreds because you are being ripped off. I put extensions in for people all the time, and i get them myself, so i know these things.

I have dark brown, thick, curly hair that goes about 4 inches past my shoulders when its straightened. I havent cut it since June and i need a haircut.... well i dont Need one but I want one. I have dry hairs and scalp, i want to know what products and of which brand should i use to give my hair a glossy and shining look like the celebrities have not the greasy one. Does conditioner or serum etc gives the shining effect if so then which one.......????
Well, i will give u some suggesstions.
1. For Dry scalp. Apply oil regularly, and massage it in your hair. leave overnight and then wash off.
2. Also dont apply conditioner in your roots. This will dry your scalp, give you dandruff and eventually hairfall.
3. Dont ever wash off conditioner with warm or hot water. Wash it with cold water. This will make your hair realy soft.
4. Towel dry and then apply serum or leave in hair conditioner. (loreal is best known for this).
5. Dont try and blow dry urself, do it at a salon if possible.
And yeah, do you what all goes in celebrities hair to make them look like that? Do you u know how much blowdrying, hair extensions, and products are used to give them that look. they have to spend thousands to maintain that hair. ..... Rather work with what you have. Try straightening your hair permanently with loreals or Shwarzkopff, if your hair isnt straight.

Hi i'm LAuren i've been doing hair for 7 years and either of those would be great for long hair. Long layers and layers around your face update the style and add movement. There should'nt be much work at all if you don't have curly and want it straight. Make sure you bring the pictures and pick a stylist who knows what they are doing. One that appreciates long hair and doesn't want to cut it all off.
Go to a salon and tell them you want long layers starting at collar bone level and long side swept bangs. They will know what to do! :)
just print out one of those pictures and bring it to yur hair dresser and she'll do it for you =)

take a curling iron and curl diffrent strands some really tight and some looser with the curling iron take hairspray after your done and spray all over loosen up the curls gentley with your fingers and BAM

Wash your hair and towel it dry a bit. Rub some serum through the wet hair to help maintain firzz. Rub a bit a gel through the hair too. Divide your hair into large sections and braid them. Spritz some sprayable gel on the outside (or just mix a bit of gell with water and rub it on the outside). Sleep with the braids overnight. Tomorrow morning, gently undo the braids, and shake your head to loosen them. Spray some hairspray and gently comb through your hair with your fingers.

Basically, they're normal braids but othe braid is only 1-4 inches long. Will this damagae my hair?

Any type of braids can potentially damage your hair. It's how tight the braids are, with too much pulling over a long period of time you can end up with some hair loss especially around the front.
All braids, especially micros, add stress by pulling on to the hair which irritates the scalp. Constant pulling at the roots can cause the hair follicles to break. Braids are good to get, once in awhile, I don't think they should be put in constantly. The scalp should be oiled and cleaned while they are being worn. Last but not least, professional salon braiders are the best, but hair loss still can result because they have to catch the hair tightly to braid it.

well i know that prenatal vitamins make hair grow really fast. im starting out on them and already my hair is getting longer. and vitamin e is great for making hair smoother and softer.
just get it trimmed as in like 1 centimeter cut off and your hair grows super fast for some reason and continue it! trust me it works!

There really isn't much you can do to make your hair grow faster however, you can try massaging your scalp a few times a day. By doing that you bring blood to the area and that stimulates the hair follicles. It may make it grow a little faster but don't count on long locks for a while. Just be patient. And to think I just got back from having several inches cut off my hair! Seems like we always want what we don't have.
1. Take your vitamins.
2. Drink milk. At least 3 cups a day. That'll not only help your hair, but it's also good for your bones, and improves your skin, and face.
3. Contrary to popular belief, cutting your hair does NOT make it grow faster. However, you should have split ends trimmed off a couple times a month, otherwise they will get worse and will make your hair look horrible.
4. Don't wash your hair so often. Wash your hair every 2-4 days. Because if you do wash it often, soon enough your hair is going to be so dry, it's not even funny.
5. Use water to help the circulation. Okay when you're in the shower, part your hair so that theres a part in the middle of your head. Get in the shower and stand directly under the water. so the water is hitting your scalp. Doing this will increase the blood circulation in your scalp. When this happens your hair can grow.
6. Get active! Don't just think sitting there is going to make your hair grow. Your not Rapunzel! Turn up the music and dance! Even if you can't dance. If you don't want anyone to see you then go in your room and close and lock your door. And dance! Go outside walk your dog for 30-60 minutes if you have a dog. Get out your jump rope and start jumping. Or if you don't have a jump rope pretend you do. Theres all kinds of thing to do to get active.
7. Keep calm. A calm mind helps keep your body balanced and able to better make use of the nutritious food you are eating and the good sleep you are getting.
8. Buy a wig while you wait. Unless you don't have enough hair to pull back in a ponytail then buy a wig. Now you have that long hair you've wanted. Now you can be happy. While your having fun with your hair, your real hair will grow.
9. Don't tug on your hair. When combing your hair don't yank a comb through your hair. If there's a knot in your hair use your hand and gently pull the knot apart.
Tips [edit]
* Also if you go to sleep wearing a wig, or a hair piece, that can help your hair grow over night.
* Use a wide comb to fix your hair after you get out of the shower. This keeps your hair growing healthily. You can also use your fingers. Do not use a hairbrush.
* Don't expect your hair grow like an inch because it doesn't work like that so be patient and try not to handle it often because some of your hair has to last your whole life.

Right now my hair is a light brownish-blonde color, in the beginning of the summer i died it light brown but i was at the beach a lot, and it has so many blonde highlights now. That looks like a good color to stick with. Also, you could go bold and try red. Light skin and red hair look good together. But PLEASE go to a professional. Your hair is something that will follow you everywhere, and you want it to look good I'm sure.
This color would look great over what you have.You may need to put a filler on the blond though.A filler replaces pigment(color) that you lifted off when getting the blond.Don't try this at home.It is a process which can be hard to do on your own.If you are light skinned don't go too dark or it will wash you out.Go see a professional.

I like the one you posted. Otherwise I would suggest a nice caramel. With the highlights you currently have, I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself (I once ended up with purple hair after hair dying accident!)

Your hair is really similar to the first 2 links. there is just a bit more body in the links. try using a volumnizing shampoo maybe tease a little at the top. if you want to get the effect of the girls try a large curling iron or curlers at the end of the strands of hair. but the effort your going for you have just not the amoung of volume shown in the pictures.

i think your hair looks healthier than hers- hers looks like it takes a whole salon to do her hair every morning. she's been using big rollers, a lot of spray, and a lot of damage. but since you've got the same face shape, you could probably pull if off as well as her.

Have you tried going to your local bookstore and checking out those magazines specially for hair? I look at them all the time to get ideas. There's some with celebrities, and there's some without if you don't like that. They have whole magazines dedicated to long hair or shirt hair so it makes it easier. I'd try that.

I can't give you a picture.. but I can give you some ideas. I have a round face and blonde hair too. One idea is straight across bangs. They look cute if you curl them a little or straighten them, and they help the shape of your face. Another is diagonal bangs. Those are even cuter straightened. How long is your hair? take like.. an inch and a half off if it is below the shoulder length to make it almost right at your shoulders. Add about 1.5 inch layers and get light brown highlights. Hope it helped!
Get long layers to make it whispy and easy to handle- get a bit of a fray around the face to make the thickness a virtue and not a pain in the ****. I have almost aist length blonde THICK hair too!!

I understand how you feel. I have thick, curly, blonde hair.
The first thing you should do is to ask your stylist, or whoever is cutting you hair, to get rid of the depth or thickness. Layers can help, but if you don't want layers, an stylist can just thin out your hair.
well...it would also help to know how long your hair is and if it is curly, wavy, or straight. Once I get those answers, I can help ^^.
for your face shape, a cute bob with bangs would help. make sure your bangs are cut at your eyebrows, or slightly above. Lower that your eyebrows, and they get in your eyes. Too short, and they frizz up and can look tacky. Or you can have long bangs, swept off to the side.
Another thing I have for you is this...keep you hair blonde! If you were born with blonde hair, why change it? So many people are striving to get blonde hair, and spending enough money to prove it! Take what you were given and use it to your advantage.

Because hair extensions are fun sometimes. Why does anyone wear hair extensions? To get a different look! Hell I've even worn hair extensions before and they were pink. They looked awesome. Much better than ruining your hair by bleaching and dying it. Hair extensions don't damage your hair like bleaching/dying does.

I agree what youre saying but MOST people wear hair extensions to get a DIFFERENT look. Nobody likes wearing the same ole style all the time, that gets boring. I have hair that goes alittle past my shoulders and I wear extensions all the time, I dont like having the same style.
