My hair is naturally a dark dirty-blonde, but for the past year and a half or so, I've been dyeing it a reddish-brown color.
However, today I decided I wanted to go back to blonde... and went out and bought the blonde hair dye. Unfortunately, now the rest of my hair is only slightly lighter than it was before, and the roots are pretty blonde.
So my question is, how long should I wait before I go and do another treatment to fix it? And how do I go about trying to get it blonde again?
My hair is basically this color now (with semi-blonde roots):

ucn go ahead and do it right away if u want, but ii think u should go n get it done like in a salon or something, i'm sure their judge of colour should b a little better. just dn't keep dying it cuz it will fry ur hair and it will fall out.

There is a product out there that will strip out old color so you can redye the new color.

sorry but getting your hair that light is gonna take a few processes or you will fry it off. you could try to strip out the old color(you will NEED to get this done in a salon) and if your hair is in good enough condition you might be able to to put a lighter color in it but it probably wont be as light at you want. red is the hardist pigment to get out of hair and it might take awhile. good luck
