HELP!! How can I find a sponsor for a hair show/ convention??!?

I am having a hair show/convention in March of 2008. I have secured a big-name celebrity to host the event. Problem is, I need sponsorship for her fee (which is $10, 000). Any suggestions on private or corporate organizations that sponsor this type, or any type of event. I would appreciate any advice or help you could give because I would really feel HORRIBLE if I had to cancel her do to my inability to secure funding for her fee. Thanks in advance!!

What about a Fundrasier! It could be a baquet, golf, or something you think of. Fundrasiers do well if it is for a wonderful cause. Have you ever though about doing a non-profit as well being that you are a business owner and afro-american there are alot of young women who need you where I am from. The government gives out grants to does who seek to uplift the community, SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT!

Sponsorship happens in the beauty pageant industry and in the hair industry too. I would contact companies閳?products you use (i.e. bobby pins, hair extensions, makeup; even local businesses and schools). Report It

Display lines, feature them in your advertisement for the show, or mention you閳ユ獧e supporting a local charity. You could also call other companies that do hair shows to get more ideas on sponsoring like Bronners Brothers or Dudley閳ユ獨. I don閳ユ獩 know how forthcoming they閳ユ獟l be, but it won閳ユ獩 hurt to ask. What's her/your speciality? What is the theme of your show? Where is it going to be held.

Write to manufacturers of the products that you will be presenting at the show and ask them for help funding you show.
