I'm asain so I have naturally jet black hair. I rarely ever dye my hair and this is the first time I've tried to dye every bit of it. I picked a caramel blonde/brownish color trying to acheive a medium or lpreferably light brown. Unfortuantely it only went katie holmes on me and is now a mocha brown. So it really hasn't changed much unless I'm in the light. My hair looks completely normal no damage. When is a good time to try again. I really want to do it as soon as possible but I dont' want to ruin my locks either. And whats a good color to choose to get to the color I want .. I guess if we want to continue using celebrity examples.. think Mariah Carey Honey blonde over brown.. Thanks so much!

Don't go over the top, dye it a color that will compliment your features and skin complextion. It has to be believable --go to a hair salon and ask them to help you.
