Similer to this but not done as well, she also thinned the end with some sort of comb/ scissor thing. Do I recut it even shorter for a better cut or hold out and let it grow. I went in for a trip and to have my layers redone. It was sholder length and this is not what I wanted it is horroble. I hate it

It doesn't sound that bad to me... You may want to go to a professional hairstylist to ask for ideas.
