My mom is a hairstylist so I grew up in salons. If you want to look gorgeous without looking like you tried too hard, tease it. If you want everyone to notice your look, poof it.

u should staighten ur hair but then pull two pieces from the side/front and pull them back under ur hair-hope this helps
