Especially black men. We as black women are naturally curvy. Our hair is natually wavy. Why is it that if our hair is natural then it is nappy and not beautiful? Why do we have to be so skinny? Don't you want something that is beautiful naturally? All of the celebrities are fake and you want all of us to look like that. If every woman had the resources that they have (personal trainers, makeup artists, etc.) we would all look like that too.

Personally, I don't put any woman on a pedestal. If I love her after I have spent enough time with her, and we connect, then I may put her on that pedestal.
Off course, that is why I don't get many dates. Because most women just wait until some sucker puts them on a pedestal before he knows if she deserves it. It's a lonely life, but I won't compromise my values at a "chance" just to get a woman's attention. I value my time and money too much.
